Kiwoom Securities directly offered 9 series (1871~1879) of 'New Global 100 Trillion' equity-linked securities (ELS) from April 30 to May 8, 2026, raising only about KRW 8.36 billion (13.4% of the planned KRW 62.41 billion)
Individual series saw varying demand: series 1872 (62.5%) and 1876 (24.3%) were relatively better, while series 1871 (3.0%), 1878 (6.1%), and 1879 (6.0%) were very low
All series are classified as 'Grade 1, Very High Risk' complex financial products, with potential loss exceeding 20% of principal due to underlying asset price fluctuations
Series 1871-1878 are issued in KRW; series 1879 is USD-denominated (planned USD 5 million, actual raised KRW 4.42 billion)
Proceeds will be used for hedging derivatives and other risk management activities
The securities are unlisted, issued via electronic registration, and may be cancelled if subscription amount falls below a threshold
