Issuance of DLB259 Worth 11 Billion KRW: Principal-Protected, 3.3% Annual Return

KIWOOM Securities decided to issue its 259th DLB worth 11 billion KRW: offering price 10,000 won per security, total 1,100,000 securities, risk grade 5 (low risk), principal-protected.
Underlying asset is the 3-month Korean Treasury bond rate, maturity 1 year, valuation date 2027.04.27, settlement date 2027.04.29.
Redemption conditions: if the rate < 8%, pay 103.30% of face value (annual 3.30%); if ≥ 8%, pay 103.31% (annual 3.31%).
Early redemption available but at a cost: at least 95% of fair value (90% within first 6 months), may result in principal loss.
Issuer credit rating AA (by KIS, NICE, KOREA RATING), unlisted security, not covered by deposit insurance.
Issuance costs 550,000 won, net proceeds about 10,999.45 million won, funds to be used for hedging etc.
